Socio-Political Green : Green, being one the dominant color on our flag, has special meaning in Indian society & politics. If fact, the Flag’s green strip is specifically called “India Green”. It represents agricultural prosperity. It stands for faith and loyalty. “The colors adopted in the flag had no communal significance” Dr. S Radhakrishanan (President of India (1962–1967)). It is a general assumption that the colors on our flag represent different religions, which is completely wrong. We are a secular country.
